ADMS frees dental practitioners and lecturers from the mundane tasks of paperwork, and allows them to focus on providing patients with the kind of attention and care they deserve. Additional modules to facilitate patient education, such as the multimedia patient education module, allow dental professionals to explain dental treatment procedures to their patients clearly and effortlessly. In today’s environment, dental professionals must leverage on the use of ICT to improve their practices and delivery of services. Similarly, dental students too must be exposed to relevant ICT applications early in their learning process. With integration to biometric technology, ADMS allows retrieval of patient records via fingerprint scanning, which means that patients no longer have to recall complex details and carry paper or plastic cards.
